Her Best Friend's Brother...

Also, I bought Kay Stockham's newest book Her Best Friend's Brother yesterday at Wallyworld. Even with all the stuff going on, I still managed to finish it late last night.

Excellent!!!

Once again, Kay takes you on a wild ride of emotion. I really felt the heroine's frustration, and anger and fear. It was terrible and wonderful at the same time. She really did a good job with this book.

Awesome job Kay!!!

  1. I bought this in ebook format when it was first released, but still haven't read it! Just finished reading EAT, PRAY, LOVE last night, and I can't decide which title in my electronic TBR pile to start next. Ooh, maybe this one... I know I'll love it.

  2. I'm ashamed to say, I never read any of Kay's books. My only excuse is that they're contemps and (except for Jan's) I couldn't tell you the last time I read a contemporary romance.

  3. SORRY! I don't have HER BEST FRIEND'S BROTHER yet! Omigosh! I was thinking I'd bought it, probably because I've seen the promo and enjoyed the book video so much. So geesh, I need to get it! And worse yet, HIS SON'S TEACHER is sitting in the ipaq TBR. Too bad I'm not a quicker reader.

Devon, I think Kay's books are beautiful. So emotionally satisfying. Not sure I've read one that didn't make me cry. In a good way, of course. ;)

  4. Devon,
Seriously, go spend the 4 bucks for HBFB. I'll loan you HIS SON'S TEACHER, which is my favorite in her series, but I have to have it back. Well worth the money, if just simply to analyze the writing. Expand your knowledge, try contemporary. Ha ha.

  5. Magdalena, shame on you! Get it now and read it next. This one will make you cry too!

  6. Jennifer, thanks for the offer of the loan. That's so sweet of you! :o) But you'd have to mail it and I'm sure I could buy it for less than postage here and back again. You've talked me into it, though. I'd love to read a well-written story that would bring tears to my eyes. So, I'll give Kay's books a try. Liz Bevarley used to be an auto buy for me, but that was a long time ago. I just drifted away from contemps and even paranormals, which I used to love. Maybe it's time I diversify my reading again.
