Free, free, free...

So, my thrifty sister-in-law is always finding great websites to save money or get free things. Coupons, books, nail polish. Yes, nail polish. She recenty sent me these websites for bookies.

Harper Collins has a First Look program if you go here. You can preview free books in genres other than romance. They just ask that you write a short 2-3 sentence review of the book. Also, Random House has a program called Read It Forward. You can check it out with this link. And, if you like Starbucks coffee, there is a group that offers free coffee cards for checking out their book and letting them know what you think by writing a review on Amazon or some other designated site. It's called the Reader Spoils program. You can find out more about it here.

I haven't signed up for any, but they looked interesting.

She sent me this as well. If you join this parenting website, you can get a free 11 x 14 photo canvas. You only pay shipping on the canvas. You can check it out here.

And finally, the nail polish. I don't generally wear polish, but I'll probably send away just to get a jar for my daughter. Check it out here.

Hope you enjoy all the freebies. Have to pass on thanks to Magdalena Scott for teaching a newbie how to inbed links.

  1. Jennifer, I have to laugh about the links. I hate to admit it but I discovered how to do it purely by accident (kinda like I did with resizing pics right on the "edit post" page ;o). Before that, I was pasting links in all their lengthy glory right into my posts.

Thanks for all the very nicely embedded links! I'll have to check them out and see all the goodies. :o)

  2. Jennifer, I was glibly reading along, wondering which free stuff to get, and saw my name. Aren't you sweet! I'm glad the linking is working for you. You definitely gave it a test drive today! ;)

Now back to see which free stuff to get...

  3. Thanks ladies. Devon, maybe you're just a bit more computer savvy. I finally had to ask Magdalena, because I knew there was a better way to do it, I just couln't figure out how. My older posts have the long links in them.
Magdalena, I appreciate the help. It definately shortened up my posts.
